ABOUT ASSOCIATION

The Academic Association of Economic Psychology (ASPE) is a scientific organization gathering researchers in such fields as: economic psychology, behavioral economics, experimental economics, behavioral finances, organizational psychology. Practitioners such as managers, financial analysts, market researchers and advertising specialists are also members of ASPE. The association was founded in 2008 on the initiative of prof. Tadeusz Tyszka and related researchers. Professor Tyszka was elected the first chairman of ASPE.

The main goals of ASPE include popularizing the applications of psychology in economics, in particular in entrepreneurship, advertising, marketing, public relations and people management as well as working for the transfer of the latest achievements of economic psychology to the economy. These goals are implemented by conducting scientific research and promoting and supporting scientific initiatives in the field of broadly understood economic psychology.
